Mehdi grew up in Paris, with Tunisian parents. After graduating with a Masters in Brand Strategy in 2003, he moved to the UK to start his career at Grey, then at BBH London where he led global accounts like Axe, Baileys, Kronenbourg 1664, Mentos, Omo. A moment in time where Mehdi learnt from some of the industry’s best.

He then moved back to Paris to join Fred & Farid and created some of the famous Orangina and Schweppes campaigns.

His entrepreneurial spirit and his love for creativity led him to join Sid Lee when the Canadian agency opened an office in Paris. He helped build up the agency, win new clients, structure its organization, launch remote operations in Tokyo and Dubai, managed the integration of culture agency Yard, worked for some of the most influential brands – adidas, KFC, Absolut, Mastercard, Paris St Germain, Longines – and rose to be the MD of the agency by 2018.

Before launching Anomaly Paris, Mehdi was MD of BETC Paris, the most creative agency in France. He ran global clients such as Citroën, Jeep, Peugeot, Lacoste, Decathlon, Havana Club, Ballantine's, Campari. He was instrumental in the agency’s global new business team and in the agency’s DE&I initiatives.

Mehdi speaks 3 languages, English, French and Arabic, is the proud father of two kids, is a dedicated fan of the LA Lakers and owner of a ridiculously large sneakers collection.
